Booziotis, Jean Jean Booziotis, born December 9, 1932 to the late Luther and Maggie Hollowell, passed away unexpectedly and quickly from natural causes on February 12, 2013 in Dallas, TX. She was born in Albany, TX, raised in Quanah, TX, went to Stevens College in Missouri, then to SMU where she received a degree in journalism. She lived for intermittent long periods in Mexico, which led to moving to Mexico City, attending the American University in Mexico City, and starting a family. A tragic plane crash left her a widow in 1969. She moved to Dallas in 1971 and married Bill Booziotis in 1972. Her interests were in literature and the arts, but her passion was the animal world- particularly domesticated animals. She is survived by her husband, Bill Booziotis, son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Yvette Jarvis, daughter and son-in-law, Betsy and Dana Younger, and grandsons, Matthew and Paul Younger. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 24 at 5:30 PM in the Horchow Hall at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
