Isaacs, Michael Ralph Michael "Mike" Isaacs was born January 1, 1955 in Dallas, TX and was raised in Garland. Mike served our country as a member of the U.S. Navy & upon returning from the service initially lived and worked in Dallas for Kraft Foods and Cullum. In 1988 he began a career at the U.S. Postal Service, in 1991 he moved to Wills Point, Texas, in 1993 he married Lorie Jones, and in 2000 he and Lorie purchased the Bluebird Café in Wills Point. He retired from the Post Office in 2010 after 22 years. Mike loved the outdoors, enjoyed hunting & fishing, his dogs Romo and Ellie, and would never miss a Dallas Cowboys game. Mike passed away late Tuesday night, April 16, 2013 and was preceded in death by his father Ralph Isaacs, his grandparents Manuel Malone of Wills Point & Mildred Malone of Dallas, and George & Lottie Isaacs of Gainesville, Texas. Mike is survived by his wife, Lorie; mother, Betty Isaacs; son, Aaron Long & wife Tanya & grandson Landon; two sisters, Vickie Garelis & husband Aaron, and Janice Schupbach & husband David; sister-in-law, Nancy Stover; four brothers-in-law, Ronnie Dillard, William Dillard, Danny Dillard & wife Darla, and Gary Dillard & wife Dedria; and nieces and nephews. The family wishes supreme thanks to Dr. Dowl and staff at UTSW. Visitation is Friday, April 19th 6:00-8:00 pm and the funeral Saturday at 11:00 am at Allan Fuller Funeral Home, Wills Point. Interment will follow at White Rose Cemetery, Wills Point.
