Bill Dees, born on April 2, 1927 to M.F. Dees and Neta Reynolds Dees. Bill graduated from Greenville High School, entered military service through the (ASTP) Program, attended Texas A&M before going on active duty in in the Office of Military Government, Berln, Germany. He was later discharged and returned to Greenville, TX and married Bobbie Jean Clindening in 1947. Their daughter, Vickie, was born in 1949. He attended East Texas State University at Commerce, TX and graduated in 1953 with a BS degree. He was an instructor in the multi-engine pilot training program and joined Texas Instruments in 1956. Bill assisted with the start up of operation for T.I. in Nice, France in 1962 and was later assigned to Tokyo, Japan, Singapore, Madrid, Spain and Naples, Italy. He returned to the U.S. and retired from T.I. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie, after 52 years together. He is currently married to the former Katy Martin, a long-time friend. They have resided at Heritage Ranch in Fairview, Texas for over eight years. He felt blessed to have been with both Bobbie and Katy. Other than Katy, he leaves one daughter, Vickie Cantwell, two grandchildren, Cara and William, 6 great grandchildren, plus numerous nieces and nephews. He also leaves one sister, Neta Nolen of Austin, TX and his brother, Jerry Dees of Austin, TX. Bill is also survived by his stepson, Billy Martin of Addison, TX and Billy's two children, Layla and Billyson of Austin, TX. His passions in life were his family, work, flying, golf, sailing and skiing. He has proudly donated his body to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Texas Baptist Men's Association, Creekwood Methodist Church, 214 544-8050, or to the . Bill requested to have "mini-memorials" instead of a memorial service. May God smile on all of your lives until we meet again.
