Whittle, Greta Garrett Age 83, passed away on August 18, 2013. Born in Dallas on July 18, 1930 and was a lifelong resident. Graduated from Highland Park High School in 1948 and attended The University of Texas until marriage to her high school sweet heart, Richard, in 1950. Greta enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and especially loved beach vacations with her children. She loved to dance and enjoyed music, swimming, bike riding, reading and football. Along with Richard, Greta had wonderful times with her grandchildren and their activities. She enjoyed her book club Fact to Fiction and seeing old friends from high school. She is preceded in death by husband Richard and son David. Survived by sons Richard Whittle and wife Jackie, Robert Whittle and wife Teresa, daughter Katherine Whittle and daughter-in-law Mary Whittle. Grandchildren Casey Whittle and wife Emily, Chris Whittle of U.S. Army Special Forces. Jennifer Musselwhite and husband Scott, Nick Whittle, Michael Whittle and Ryan Whittle. Step grandchildren Matt Johnson and wife Laura and Stacie Robbins and husband Buddy. Nine Great Grandchildren Keaton and Adelyn Whittle, Brandon Musselwhite, Ben, Luke, Cate, Henry and Sam Johnson and Katie Robbins; sister and best friend Anne Hancock and her husband Jim, numerous nieces and nephews.
