Dickenson, William (Bill) Edward 1938 - 2013 William (Bill) Edward Dickenson, born in Poplar Bluff, MO, to Vesta Mae and Oliver Clarke Dickenson, October 16, 1938, passed away in Casper, WY on August 24, 2013. Bill grew up in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School. He joined the Coast Guard after high school and started his employment at Sun Oil Company. Bill sold life insurance at Acacia Mutual Life Insurance Company. Bill lived in Dallas, Texas until 2007, when he and his wife retired to Casper, WY. Bill was a 32nd Degree Mason and a longtime member of Button Memorial United Methodist Church in Little Elm, Texas. Bill was an avid golfer and loved his golf games with his buddies. Bill was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by wife, Judy and five children. Elizabeth Dickenson (John McCready), Debbie Dickenson Kelley (Collin Williams), William Clarke Dickenson, Tammy Elmore McMurry (Ian), Melissa Dickenson Finke. Bill has seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Bill is also survived by his faithful canine companions Buster and Honey. Bill is going to be laid to rest in Douglas, Wyoming. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date in Dallas, Texas for his Texas family and close friends. Memorial donations can be sent to Scottish Rite Hospital or a . Bill will be remembered for his kindness and generosity.
