Dear Mary, your exceptional qualities and actions made you larger than life. As a result, you bettered the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing you. You are loved and dearly missed.

Missing you, Mary, and thanking you for sharing this life journey with me and with so many women and men who believe in love, compassion, fairness and sanity. You did a lot of good and you will be remembered with love and respect.

The loss of Mary Gilmore saddens us all. Mary's gentle (velvet glove) strength (iron fist) reminded us that (1) we should love more and (2) we can do something about that which is unlovely in our lives. I will always remember her for her compassionate sanity and dedication to all the right causes for the right reasons.

No more exchanging wonderful earrings or music or books or cat oriented gifts on our shared birthday, Mary. From now on I will be making a donation to the TEA fund every January 12 in your memory. And always, always I will love and honor you, my dear friend.

Dear Mary You are greatly missed. You were a compassionate and caring friend, a leader in the women's community and a mentor to many. Thanks also for including the message to spay/neuter your pets in the obituary. This is so IMPORTANT.
(And of course, my beloved dog Mary, was your namesake which I know brought you great delight!)
