Alpuerto, Maj. Ben Wallingsford Maj. Ben Wallingsford Alpuerto (Ret. U.S. Army) was born March 21, 1920 & passed peacefully in his Grand Prairie Texas home Dec 29, 2013. He is reunited with his Mother Viola, Father Gabriel, Brothers Pami & Al & his son Dennis. He will forever be remembered by his children Ben, Ben G, Marla, Bruce, Eric, Sarah, their mother Charlene 17 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews & friends. Ben lived a life of Honor and Service, to God, his country, family and community. Ben proudly served the U.S. Army in WWII & Korean War. As a POW Ben took that perseverance to every aspect of his life as a family man, business owner & volunteer. The Family will be celebrating the life & legacy of Veteran Ben W.
