EUBANKS, Anne Winnifred Minor Anne Winnifred Minor Eubanks, widow of newsman Bicknell Eubanks, died on October 2, surviving her husband by 44 years. Mrs. Eubanks was born on March 4, 1914 in Maple Creek, Saskatchewan, Canada to John F. and Katherine Bentley Minor. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Saskatchewan in 1934, and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Missouri in 1937. Upon marriage in 1940, she moved to the U.S., settling in Dallas in 1951. She taught English at John B. Hood Middle School until her retirement in 1984. Mrs. Eubanks was for decades an active member of Sixth Church of Christ, Scientist, Dallas. In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by seven of her siblings and by her youngest child, Holly, who died in infancy. Mrs. Eubanks is survived by her son and daughter, Bicknell Eubanks III and Alleine Eubanks Housewright, both of Dallas, and her sister Alice Minor Bovee, of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and their offspring. Family and friends will gather for a remembrance at the home of her grandson, David Eubanks Wilkins, on Saturday, October 14, at 11:00AM.

Sympathy to family!! Many memories from Eubanks home visits and their visits to my parents home in Nebraska on their way to Canada!! My mother was Ruth Minor Moodie, first cousin of Anne's.
