JUDAH, FRANK MARVIN, 63, of Moody, TX formerly of DeSoto, known by his relatives and close friends as Marvin, passed away Monday, October 04, 2004 at Scott & White Hospital as a result of complications from pulmonary fibrosis compounded by a massive stroke. Dr. Judah graduated from Texas Tech University and received his postgraduate degrees from Texas A & M. He served in the capacity of Juvenile Probation Officer in Plainview, Texas and taught High School English at Big Lake, Texas. He also served in administration capacities for the cities and school districts of Sweetwater, Seguin, Killeen and DeSoto. He was a member of Christian Church and active in the Rotary & Masonic Lodges. With his membership in TASBO (Texas Association of School Business Officials), he continued to be of service to his community after his retirement from professional life. He was preceded in death by his father: Frank Morris Judah and daughter: Frances Margaret Judah. He is survived by his wife of 37 years: Rita Judah; son: Frank Martin Judah; mother: Margaret Judah and his brother John Phillip Judah. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, October 08, 2004 from 5:30 - 8:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 09, 2004 at Rolling Hills Church of Christ, 115 W. Beltline Rd., DeSoto, TX at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Steven Digby, officiating. Interment with Masonic Rites will follow in Rawlins Cemetery, Lancaster, TX.
