HUGHES, JR., DUDLEY MAYS 63 , was born April 9, 1941 in Dallas, Texas. He passed away March 4, 2005 in Dallas. Preceded in death by parents Dudley and Margueritte Hughes, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Trema Hughes; sons, Dudley M. Hughes, III and David Hughes; daughters, Lynette Ghormley and husband Brad and Meri Trema Florence; 5 grandsons, Nicholas, Jacob, Ben, Marshall and Ranger; brother, Ronald W. Hughes; sisters, Cheree Jeter and Michele Tinch and many other loving family members. Dudley was one of the few people who could "make things happen." He was a very active leader in the Adamson Foundation, the Adamson Alumni Association, the Disciples of Christ Foundation and his church. He is a retired Funeral Director and was involved in the community throughout his lifetime. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day-and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:6-8. Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Monday, March 8, 2005 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 9, 2005 at the Pleasant Grove Christian Church, 1324 Pleasant Dr., Dallas, TX. Interment will follow at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park in Mesquite, TX. Jeter & Son 214-330-4700 4830 W.
