James was my father's roommate at Heartland for the last couple years. He always kept an eye out for my Dad who is bedridden with late-stage Alzheimer Disease. He would also always ask about my family when we visited and also tell me that he prayed every night for my Dad. He was a special man, and I will miss seeing him when we visit. I am grateful for his watchful eye over my father and his prayers.

Dear Family of Jim Griffith,
Jim was my first boy friend we meant
at Hallablou at forest park plaza. I use to work there. Jim always had a very kind smile and laugh we were very close. I never forgot him! I wrote with spray paint, his name on Hallbalou wall and the Dayton Daily News paper put into the news ahahaha. It said, Peaches Digs Jim Griffith.
I remember when he got his first motorcycle and came to my house to take me a ride on it, he had a football helmet for my head, we went to Sherrs ice cream. I was sooo very sorry Jim passed away he was a wonderful man and he will never be forgotten!!! Bless you always, Peaches
