FERRY, Richard M. age 80 of Springfield and The Villages, Florida died on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. He was born the son of Michael J. & Mary (Mittal) Ferry on April 4, 1933 in Masury, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mike Ferry and 3 sisters Mary Anne, Agnes, and Sister Rita H.M. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Viola (Hayes) Ferry of Springfield and The Villages, Florida, daughter Michelle and son-in-law Dave Fugett of San Diego, daughter-in-law Debbie Ferry of Dayton, grandchildren Tom Ferry and Daniel Fugett, brother Vince (Elizabeth) Ferry of Fairborn, and several nieces and nephews. Richard was a member of the Fairborn Council 3724 Knights of Columbus and Monsignor Buckley 4th Degree Assembly of Springfield. Richard attended Youngstown State and Wright State University. He retired from Chrysler where he worked as a foreman and worked for Locust Hills Golf Course in maintenance working on golf carts. He loved tinkering about in his garages, golfing, and the great state of Florida. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle and he will be missed by all who love him. Memorial Mass will be held Thursday, at 10 AM, August 1, 2013 at Mary, Help of Christians Catholic Church, 954 N. Maple Avenue, Fairborn, OH 45324 with Rev. Charles F. Lang, Celebrant. A visitation will be held one hour prior to Mass 9AM to 10AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Richard's memory to Humility of Mary at Villa Maria Pennsylvania, 225 Villa Marie Villa Maria, Pennsylvania, 16155. Dear Aunt Viola,
