IZOR, Marvin age 82, of Farmersville, OH, passed away at home, Thursday, July 10, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He retired from Aeronca in Middletown, OH, after 43 years of service. He served in the Ohio National Guard; and was a Farmersville Volunteer Firefighter for more than 40 years. Marvin was a life member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, and mushroom hunting ~ had a passion for Florida family vacations; and was an avid Red's fan. He was preceded in death by the love of his life ~ his wife of 32 years, Maxine (Tobias) Izor. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, Ora E. and Marie C. (Palmer) Izor; his baby sister, Helen Louise; sister and brother-in-law, Betty (David) Breeding; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Donald (Shirley) Izor, James Izor; and his brother-in-law, Edward Taylor. He is survived by his son Tom (Debbie) Izor; his daughter, Becky (Jeff) Sticklen; 5 grandchildren, Angie (Christian) Oblinger, Amber (Brandon) Carter, Jason (Heather) Izor, Rachael (Nick) Bell, and Keith Sticklen; 9 great-grandchildren, Kaitlin & Isabella Oblinger, Peyton Carter, Brayden, Lily & Andrew Bell, Xavier, Brady & Dawson Izor; his brother, Robert (Ethelda) Izor; his sister, Rosalie Taylor; his sister-in-law, Alice Izor; numerous nieces and nephews; a special caregiver Delores Brooks; and dear friend, Farmersville Fire Dept. Chief, Tom Wallace. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, July 15th, at the Dalton Funeral Home, Corner of State Route 4 & Weaver Rd., Germantown. The Funeral Service will be held 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 282 S. Broadway, Farmersville, OH, with Pastor Larry Lindstrom officiating. Those of us who worked with Marvin at Aeronca will miss him. He did his job to perfection and was a stickler for detail. Anyone who knew him would agree that he was a person to be admired. Aeronca was a better company because Marvin worked here. Our sincere sympathy is extended to his family and friends.

I am very sorry to hear of Marvin's passing. I knew him for many years at Aeronca and considered him a good friend and a valued co worker. Marvin worked in Purchasing and was a very good buyer. He helped me and others in manufacturing by getting good vendors to support us. He will be missed by all that knew him.
