Martha POLLARD Obituary


News Death Notice

POLLARD, Martha age 92 of Waynesville, Ohio passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Heartland of Centerville. She was born July 8, 1921 in Winchester, Kentucky the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Collins) McQueen. Martha was formerly employed with Springboro City Schools for 23 years and retired in 1983 and was a member of Roberts Road Pentecostal Church. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Onalee Stiver of West Carrollton, OH. Martha is survived by her three daughters, Shirley Hoerner of Centerville, OH, Marilyn (Ray) Anderson of Crawfordville, FL, Sandra (Marshall) Clayton of Roxboro, NC; son, William (Wilda) Van Nuys of Waynesville, OH; five granddaughters, Cheryl, Brenda, Kara, Becky, Shana; seven grandsons, Greg, Steve, Jerry, Jeff, Danny Ray, Rob, Don; 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Monday, April 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at Anderson Funeral Homes, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio with Reverend Jimmy Jewell officiating. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday at Anderson Funeral Homes. Burial will be in Springboro Cemetery. Please visit www.anderson-fh.com to send an online condolence.
