News Death Notice FADER, Jr., Ernest "Jerry" Age 75, of Beavercreek, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Timothy E. Jones, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Donna; children, Teresa (Jim) Moore and Steven (Beth); grandchildren, Michael Petry, Matthew R. Jones, and Addam Moore; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Larry (Janet) and Michael (Tina), and numerous nieces and nephews. Ernie served in the U. S. Navy, worked for DRT for over 30 years, and was a master gardener. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Presidential Banquet Center, 4548 Presidential Way, Kettering, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Dayton, Greene County Animal Control, or the American Cancer Society. FARROW, Henrietta* - Dayton  
News Death Notice FARROW, Henrietta "Hank" Of Kettering, OH passed away at Hospice of Dayton on Monday, April 20, 2015. She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Farrow and Anna Wallingford Farrow, her fiancé, who passed away during WWII, and a beloved younger sister, Martha Jane Farrow. Born in Maysville, KY on June 14, 1922, Hank was a real go-getter for her time. She was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University and went on to hold many impressive positions throughout her career. Working in the Air Force Logistics Command at WPAFB, she later assisted in writing the Department of Defense policies for providing government property to contractors and was instrumental in Project 60. As Chief of the Industrial Division, she became a world-traveler to notable places, such as Saudi Arabia, Taiwan, Korea, Spain, and England. Receiving many awards and honors, she was nominated for Air Force Woman of the Year. In her 92 years, Hank belonged to many groups and organizations, including Daughters of the American Revolution, Dayton Country Club, the Republican Women of Oakwood, and The Dayton Woman's Club. She will be remembered for her loyalty, generosity, soft-spoken nature, and the love and support she showed her friends. She is survived by her daughter-like companion and adored caretaker, Joy House of Centerville, OH. A gathering of friends will take place on Monday, April 27, 2015 from 2:00-2:30 p.m., with a service to follow at 2:30pm at Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Avenue in Dayton. FERNALD, Elinor A. (Faulkner)* - Dayton  
News Death Notice FERNALD (Faulkner), Elinor A. Age 91 went to her heavenly home on April 18, 2015. Preceded in death by husband Arthur, daughter Pam, Step-son Greg and numerous brothers, sisters and loved ones. She leaves to mourn Son Thomas, Daughters Mary Jo, Carol (Ron), Vickie (Darrell), Teresa (Jim), Step-children Barbara, Nanette and Mark, 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 great- great granddaughter. Ellie was very active and enjoyed life to the fullest and touched the lives blessed to know her with her smile and sense of humor. Special thanks to Tommy and Mary Jo for their care and Patti Gillespie for her love and support during our difficult time and those who took time to visit her. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life at a graveside service at Medway Cemetery 11039 Lower Valley Pk. Medway OH on May 03 at 2pm.
