News Death Notice ELLIOTT, Robert M. Age 72, of Verona, passed away unexpectedly on Wed. July 22, 2015 while in surgery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Quince Elliott & Iva Nell Roberts & by children, Dee Dee & Doug Elliott. Robert was a member of Verona United Methodist Church and an active member of Kairos Prison Ministry. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Cinda (Longman) Elliott, sons & spouses, David (Lindsey) Elliott, Jonathon (Ashley) Elliott & James Elliott; grandchildren, Eli, Hailey, Tyler & Olivia; siblings, Gwen (LeRoy) McDaniel, Mike Elliott & Nelda (Jay) Lawson, and by numerous other relatives and many special friends. A Memorial Service will be held 7:00 PM Sunday, July 26 in the Verona United Methodist Church, 206 S. State St. Verona, OH. ENNIS, William S.* - West Carrollton  
News Death Notice ENNIS, William S. Age 85 of West Carrollton formerly of Bethel Park, PA passed away Monday July 20, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Bill was born February 9, 1930 in Cannonsburg, PA to the late John and Winetta Ennis. He attended the Bethel School System before enlisting in the U.S. Air Force serving 4 years of which 18 months he was stationed in Korea. He earned the rank of Staff Sgt. with the 607 AC & W Squadron. Bill was the Fire Chief of Peters Twp., PA and retired Fire Chief of West Carrollton, OH. After retirement as Chief he was a member of West Carrollton City Council. Chief Ennis was a Fire Instructor at Sinclair Community College where he mentored many future firefighters. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, son Randy Ennis and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife Betty "Addis" Ennis, they were married March 28, 1952, daughter; Sherri (Bob) Posega of Mainville, OH, 2 sons; William Jr. (Linda) Ennis of Tiffin, OH, Richard (Susan) Ennis f Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter-in-law; Evie Davis of Sarasota, FL, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Memorial service for Fire Chief Ennis will be Saturday August 1, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 550 South Elm Street, West Carrollton, OH 45449. Fire Chief Charles Wiltrout, Retired will be officiating the services. It was Bill's wishes to keep teaching and donate his body to the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to; Ohio Fire Chiefs Scholarship Fund c/o Ohio Fire and Emergency Service Foundation, 450 West Wilson Bridge Rd., Suite 150, Worthington, OH 43085 or Washington County Fire Academy, 895 Western Ave., Washington, PA 15301.
