News Death Notice SABIN, La'Toya Keith Age 30, born March 29, 1985 in Dayton, departed this life Friday, August 21, 2015. She graduated from Trotwood High School in 2007. La'Toya worked for Kettering Medical Center for five years. She was a member of Mt. Zion A.O.H. Church. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucius Booker, and Wren (Mildred) Keith; five aunts and seven uncles. Survivors include her husband Micheal; son, Cameron; parents, Franklin (Dorothy) Keith; sister, Estelle Jackson; brother, Franklin Keith Jr.; nephew, Esto Jones; grandmother, Savannah Frazier; best friend, Whitney Manning; nine aunts and five uncles; other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Monday, August 31, 2015 at Mt. Zion A.O.H. Church, 12 College Street. Bishop John H. Matthews, Jr. officiating. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation from 9-11 am. Family will receive friends from 10-11 am. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N. News Death Notice SAMSON, Thelma J. Age 83, passed away August 29, 2015. She was born on May 12, 1932 in Kentucky. She was employed by Dayton Press for many years followed by working at Friendship Village. Thelma was a member of Eastern Star. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Hazel Rediger and her brother Jack Kindred. Thelma is survived her son and daughter-in-law Phillip and Connie Bennington; grandchildren Mindy and Marcy; niece Paula (Steve) Blessing and also survived by Jenni and Kenton Blessing. Memorial Service will be held 6PM Wednesday September 2, 2015 at Baker-Hazel & Snider Funeral Home 5555 Philadelphia Dr. Dayton @ N. Main St. A gathering will be held 5PM until the service time. News Death Notice SCHEPER, Jane A. Age 88, passed away August 26, 2015. She was a lifelong native of Dayton. Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul Scheper, in 2009; sister Madonna Ruppert, son-in-law Tony Parker and grandson Ryan Parker. She is survived by her daughter Marty and her husband Doug Huss of Morris Plains, NJ; son Steve and his wife Jeanie of Centerville; daughter Doris and her husband Rick Miller of Woodbridge, IL; daughter Kathy and her husband Mike Santmire of McCormick, SC; son Gary and his wife Terry of Kettering; daughter Carol Parker of Dayton and daughter Lisa and her husband Duane Hawk of Palmerton, PA; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; 3 step great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Fuerst and brother Leonard Glaser. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Noon on Monday, August 31 at the Church of the Ascension in Kettering. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 30 from 2-6:00 pm at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd, Kettering. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or the charity of your choice. Jane's family would like to thank the staff at Brookdale-Kettering for their caring friendship and Kettering Hospital MSICU for their professional and personal care.

He was Superintendent of Warehousing and Shipping for Sherwin-Williams Corporation retiring from their Chicago Headquarters. Don was preceded in death by his wife, Faye in 2013; and by a sister, Mary Timm. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Molly Schierloh; granddaughters, Katie and Emily Schierloh; and by his mother-in-law, Essie Johnson. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Tobias Funeral Home, 5471 Far Hills Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Church of the Immaculate Conception, 2300 S.
