News Death Notice PHILLIPS, Wilma H. Age 87, passed away Monday, May 18, 2015 at the Bethany Lutheran Village. In 1986 after twenty plus years of service Wilma retired from General Motors. She is preceded in death by her husband Walter, and son-in-law Bill Thompson. Wilma is survived by her daughters; Donna Phillips of West Carrolton, and Pam Thompson of Centerville, grandchildren; Jason (Emily) Thompson, and Rebecca (Tim) Nicodemus, great-grandchildren; Roman Lee and Simon Thompson, her brother Ronald (Jane) Harper of Chillicothe, OH., and her faithful companion Buddy Boy, the stray cat who changed her life. Family will receive friends from 1:30PM until time of Funeral Service 3:00PM Tuesday, May 26, 2015 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - Far Hills Chapel with Pastor Steve Kimpel officiating. Burial will follow Heritage Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Wilma's memory to the Fuzz Bucket Farm Cat Rescue and Sanctuary PO Box 87 Jamestown, OH 45335.

News Death Notice POLSTON (Spangler), Kathy S. Age 52, of New Lebanon, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. She was born November 18, 1962 in Dayton to her parents, Lewis and Lucille (Canterbury) Spangler. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, John and father, Lewis. She is survived by her mother, Lucille; children, John Polston, and TJ and Kim Moll; granddaughter, Marie Polston; sisters, Brenda Still and Patricia Bailey; friend, Jamie Hubbard; and nieces, nephews, family, and friends. The Visitation will be Wednesday, May 27 from 10 to 11AM at ROGERS' FUNERAL HOME, New Lebanon. The Funeral Service will begin at 11AM with Pastor Stephen Betts officiating. News Death Notice PRICE, Mary "Ida" (Fannon) She was born September 13, 1935 in Barbourville, Ky. to Mossie Elizabeth (Goley) and Roy Robert Fannon. Ida passed away Friday May 22, 2015. She was 79. Ida will always be remembered for being very motherly and tender as she dedicated her life to her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Silas and Paul Fannon and sister Mae Ely. Ida is survived by her husband Billy E., son Billy Jr. (Judy), daughter Tammy Ikirt (Steve), son Robert (Roz), daughter Tonya Sweet (Dean), 11 grandchildren Carolyn (Devon), Kelly (Curtis), Amy, Justin, Shannon, Sarah (Randon), Amanda, Kaitlyn, Mitch, Chad and Tyler, 13 great-grandchildren, sister Pearlie Dalton (Boyd), brother George Fannon, and Sister Fayette Helton. A life celebration visitation will be held Tuesday, May 26th from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at CONNER & KOCH Life Celebration Home, 92 W. Franklin St., Bellbrook (937-848-6651). Life celebration services will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton. In memory of Ida, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association Miami Valley Chapter, 31 W. News Death Notice PUTERBAUGH, Robert L. Age 84 of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2015. Robert was a proud Air Force veteran and a mechanical engineer at General Motors for 43 years. He was an Eagle Scout, loved golfing, especially at Kitty Hawk Golf Course, had a passion for wood-working and growing tomatoes in his garden, and also having his family over for get-togethers. He is survived by his wife of 57 years: Virgie (May) Puterbaugh, daughter and son-in-law: Kathy (Joe) Wilson of West Milton, sons and daughters-in-law: Rodney (Paige) Puterbaugh of Brunswick, Ronald (Toni) Puterbaugh of Union, grandchildren: Jake Wilson, Josh Wilson, Tyler Wilson, Ranger Puterbaugh, Dane Puterbaugh, Dylan Puterbaugh, and Montana Puterbaugh, along with numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents: Raymond and Mildred (Sensenbaugh) Puterbaugh, sister and brother-in-law: Marilyn (Don) Krust. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd, Englewood). RUBINO Jr., Anthony* - Dayton  
News Death Notice RUBINO, Jr., Anthony 84, of Fairborn, Ohio died on 12 May 2015 after a lengthy illness. Anthony was born on 27 March 1931 to the late Antonio and Agnes Chunk Rubino of Ellwood City, PA. Anthony was a true patriot. He was Korean War Veteran who served our country from 1947 to 1968. During his military career Anthony specialized in bomber aircraft weapon fire control and radar systems providing in-depth training to aircrew of various Boeing bomber aircraft--KB-29 and B-29 Superfortress and the RB-47 Stratojet. He also flew on several missions during the Korean War to gather Intel on enemy ground control interception radar. During his career he provided training to aircrew on the Convair B-36 Peacemaker strategic bomber navigation system and later the B-52s fire control and bomb navigation systems. He retired as master sergeant from both the Army Air Corps and the U.S. Air Force. He continued his career at Systems Research Laboratory and later began his own business, Aerospace Marketing Service, as an electronic warfare consultant. Anthony was a life-time member of the Association of Old Crows (AOC) Kittyhawk Chapter, Elks Lodge 668, VFW Post 8312, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 73, and FOE 321. Anthony received two life time achievement awards from the AOC and the Elks 668. He was an avid golfer and pro bowler and loved Dixieland jazz and dancing. Survivors include his children Debra Winner (Bernard) of Enon, Ohio; Dorene Meinke (George) of Beavercreek, Ohio; Denise Coyle (Dane) of New Carlisle, Ohio; and Anthony Rubino (Kendall) of Beavercreek, Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and very special friend Shirley Sauer. Anthony was preceded in death by his grandparents (Santo and Vita Rubino), parents and a sister, Arlene Stiteler of New Castle, PA; and wife of 14 years, Mary Juanell Williams Rubino. A memorial service will be held at 12:30, 26 May 2015 at St. Helens Parish, 605 Granville Place, Dayton. Anthony donated his remains to Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University. A celebration of Anthony's life will be held following the memorial service at the Moose Lodge 73, 1134 Richfield Center, Beavercreek, OH from 2-5 pm. Special thanks to Wright Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and Crossroads Hospice of Dayton for their help and support. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Anthony Rubino Jr., to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org or by calling 202-558-4302.

She was born on January 13, 1930 in Prenter, West Virginia to Bradford and Nancy {Vance} Cunningham. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leonard K. Seagraves the love of her life for 59 years, daughter, Beverly Sue Brown, brothers, Forest and Cressell Cunningham and sister, Opal Ranson. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Seagraves, son Kenneth Seagraves both of Tipp City, OH along with 6 grandchildren, Kelley (Kurt) Purkey, Alexandria (Kevin) Hanmann, Chris (Jillian) Seagraves, Courtney Silva, Elizabeth (Jeff) O'Neal, Jared (Emily) Seagraves, 12 great grandchildren and sister in-law, Opal Robinson, Tipp City, OH. Helen was a long standing member of the Tipp City United Methodist Church and is remembered as managing the cafeteria for 26 years at Nevin Coppock Elementary School, Tipp City. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Tipp City United Methodist Church, 8 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH; burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at FRINGS AND BAYLIFF FUNERAL HOME 327 W. Main St., Tipp City, OH 45371.
