News Death Notice HARTLEY (Recososa), Martemiana Baje "Amy" Age 62 of Beavercreek, passed away on Thursday, April 16, 2015. Amy was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, Mah Jong, camping and being with her dog, Angel. She is survived by her husband of 32 years: Robert Hartley, niece: Malou Mutia, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and special friends: Mike and Lilian Juntunen. She was preceded in death by her parents: Francisco and Lucia (Baje) Recososa and 2 sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Holy Family Catholic Church (140 S. Finley St., Dayton) with Fr. Mark Wojdelski as celebrant. Interment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Dayton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Sally was a baptized and faithful servant of Jehovah for 52 years and member of the Northridge Congregation of Jehovah Witnesses. News Death Notice HUFF, Audrey A. Age 87, of Dayton, passed away at Walnut Creek nursing home on Friday, April 17, 2015. Audrey is survived by her son, Bryan Huff; daughters, Carla (Tim) Roberts and Linda (Dean) Humphery; and grandchildren, Virginia Huff, Garrett Collinsworth and Kendall Burton. Audrey was a wonderful woman who retired from Delco Products in Kettering. Audrey found much joy in traveling with her children. A funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, April 20, 2015 at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL with Pastor Gary Favor officiating. Friends may call from 11am until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at Mt. Zion Shoup Cemetery. HUNTER, Vera Katherine (Tymkow)* - Hartford  
News Death Notice HUNTER (Tymkow), Vera Katherine 79, of Centerville, Ohio passed away peacefully on December 19, 2014. Born March 2, 1935, in Hartford Connecticut, and raised in Windsor, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Katherine Tymkow. She is also predeceased by her husband George Hunter, sister Nadia Fischer and brother Joseph Tymkow. Vera graduated in 1953 from Windsor High School in Windsor, CT. Following graduation, she moved to Washington D.C. where she met George on a blind date. They were married shortly after on June 16, 1956. Vera devoted her life to raising her four daughters in a loving home, both in Maryland and Ohio. She was also a talented seamstress who worked for many years at Pants Makers Ladies Apparel in downtown Centerville, Ohio. Throughout her life her words held wisdom, and she had a dry wit that never left her. Above all, she was a kind and gentle soul. She is deeply missed. She is survived by her daughters Leslie Waizmann (Joe), Nancy Williams, Polly Kessel (Dan), and Amanda Ammer (Bryan); grandchildren Jessica and Robert Waizmann, Olivia and Anna Williams, and Reid and Neil Ammer; sister Irine Mack, sister-in-law Carol Tymkow and brother-in-law Tom Hunter; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Vera donated her remains to the Wright State University Anatomical Research Program. A memorial service will be held April 25 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit in St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Oakwood, Ohio followed by a reception. The family wishes to thank the staff at Liberty Retirement Community of Washington Township, as well as Hospice of Dayton for Vera's care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Hospice of Dayton, or the charity of your choice.

KIRCHER, Carole Ann (Jacobs)* - Dayton  
News Death Notice KIRCHER (Jacobs), Carole Ann Age 79, formerly of Oakwood, passed away Nov. 19, 2014. She was a graduate of Franklin (Ind.) High School, attended Franklin College and received her B.A. from Ohio University in 1957. A longtime resident of Oakwood, Carole had most recently split her time between Hudson, Ohio, and Bokeelia, Fla., and previously had residences in Paradise, Mich., and on Useppa Island, Fla. Over the years, Carole's interests, involvements and occupations were numerous and varied. Beginning as an elementary school teacher, she spent the '60s and '70s devoted to being a wife and mother while maintaining involvement in such organizations as the Dayton Art Institute and the Garden Club of Dayton. In the '80s she devoted herself to Republican politics, becoming the local campaign manager for both George H.W. Bush and later Ronald Regan in the 1980 election, and running her own retail business, The Fabric Co., in Centerville. In the '90s, Carole and her husband, Dudley, retired and moved to Useppa Island, Fla., where she became active in the garden club, and the pair undertook the restoration of a 36-foot trawler and cruised the Intracoastal Waterway. She loved the water, loved out-of-the-way - sometimes inconvenient - places, and loved to entertain family and friends. Additionally, she enjoyed writing, authoring two cookbooks and a play. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley P. Kircher, and her brother, Mike Jacobs. She is survived by her children, Chris, Stacy and Ted, and their spouses; grandsons, Jake, Mack, Christopher and Tyler; granddaughters, Grace and Hope; and sister, Susan Hartman. A memorial celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, April 26 from Noon - 3:00 pm at Moraine Country Club, 4075 Southern Rd., Dayton, OH 45429. News Death Notice KREITZER (Bystrek), Clara A. 90, of Riverside, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2015. Clara was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Karol and Stella Bystrek. Clara was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life of 67 years, Charles D. Kreitzer. Clara was one of 9 children and is survived by her sister, Jenny Underwood, of Dayton. Clara is survived by her 5 children: son, Bob (Pat) Kreitzer of Riverside; daughter, Linda (Sam) Carman of Nelsonville; daughter, Carol (the late Dennis) Philipps of Huber Heights; son, Jerry (Rachel) Kreitzer of Wyoming, MI,; daughter, Pam (Derek) Blaylock of Riverside. Clara had 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren. Clara was the rock of her family. She loved watching Reds Baseball and also Ohio State Football. Funeral service 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Apr. 22, 2015 at the GEORGE C. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, "Northridge Chapel," 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. LAMB, Raymond* - Dayton  
News Death Notice LAMB, Raymond Raymond Lamb was called home on April 14, 2015 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas where he has resided for the past 21 years. He was a retired educator with the Dayton Public Schools where he served as teacher/coach/administer in a career spanning 34 years. After his retirement, he became superintendent of The Lutheran School of Dayton. Ray was a proud graduate of Stivers High School which honored him in 2013 with an induction into their Athletic Hall of Fame. He was also a long-time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lydia Britain Lamb also of Eureka Springs, his son Mike Lamb and wife Renee, their 3 children Chad, Conrad and Skylar all of Springboro and a fourth grandchild, Rachel Lamb of Mason, Ohio, a step-daughter, Ann Marie Behan and husband, Gary, and their 2 children, Nicholas and Evie, all of Phoenix. He is also survived by his sister, Gloria Jean Lamb of Kettering and a half-sister, Virginia Alsept of Hamilton, Ohio. Mr. Lamb was preceded in death by his 2 eldest sons, Raymond Lee Lamb and Steven Bruce Lamb both of Dayton, an older brother, Aldolphus Lamb, Jr. of Fairborn, 2 half- brothers Vernard and George Lamb of Dayton, by his parents Aldolphus Lamb, Sr. and Clarsia Anderkin Lamb, and a step-mother, Elma Lamb. On Monday, April 20, there will be a one hour viewing from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m followed by a service from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Woodland Cemetery in the chapel. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Lutheran School of Dayton located at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
