SPIERS, Loretta Age 78 of Hamilton passed away Saturday September 24, 2016. She was born April 25, 1938 in Seven Mile, Ohio the daughter of the late Sam and Emma (Anders) Couch. Mrs. Spiers was a 1956 graduate of Hamilton High School and worked for many years in the offices at the Fairfield City Schools. She is the beloved wife of Bert Spiers; loving mother of Rick Spiers, Lisa (Cliff) Bown, and Roger (Tammy) Spiers, and grandmother of eight. Visitation at THE WEBSTER FUNERAL HOME 3080 Homeward Way at Rt. 4, Fairfield on Friday September 30, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM, with Pastor Tyler Green, officiating. STRECK, Paula Age 57 of Dayton, peacefully passed away at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by family and friends on Friday, September 23, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 36 years Jim Streck, children Kenny (Julie) Streck, Katie (Jeremy) Clingner, grandchildren Jack and Jamie Streck, sister Judy Tudor, brothers David (Vi) Brennan, Tim (Connie) Brennan, Tom (Dina) Brennan, sister-in-law Robyn (Jeff) Ungard, nephews Will, Mike, Alec and Sam Brennan, and Matt and Dan Ungard, as well as other relatives and many special friends. She is preceded in death by her parents John (Jack) and Rosann Brennan. Paula spent many years in the Banking and Accounting industry, most recently with Clark Schaefer Hackett & Co before becoming the proud founder and CEO of PSTRECK LLC. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and volunteered for many organizations including Hospice of Dayton. As the life of the party, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially her children and grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Church of the Ascension. Celebrant Fr. Ed Pratt. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at grange Hall Rd. from 4 pm 8 pm on Wednesday, September 28. VULGAMORE (Wise), E. Wanetta Age 82, of Saint Paris, passed away on Saturday, September 24, 2016 quietly in her family home of 61 years. Born on December 27, 1933 in Covington, Ohio to the late Ferman and Thelma (Via) Wise, she was number 7 of 11 children., 4 of which preceded her in death: Edna, John, Deloris, and Mary Ellen. Her husband of 64 years, Hubert, survives her, along with five children: Steve (Linda) Vulgamore, John (Valerie) Vulgamore, Jeanne (Kris) Shroyer, Janet (Dan) Kaffenbarger, Scott (Janet) Vulgamore, 14 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 4 brothers: Robert (Pat) Wise, Wayne (Jenny) Wise, Edward (Nancy) Wise, Larry (Darlene) Wise; 2 sisters: Fern (Bob deceased) LeFevre, Dixie (Kenneth) Kimmel, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Visitation will be held at Grace Baptist Church, 960 Children's Home Road, Urbana, Ohio 43078 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2016. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 30, 2016 in Grace Baptist Church as well. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, N. Heck Hill Road, St. Paris, Ohio. WALDREN, James "JW" Jim 70, of London, died Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Urbana. Born August 22, 1946 in Springfield; he was a son of Donald and Mary (Martin) Waldren. Jim had been a social worker in the DD field, retiring from Champaign Residential. He was a longtime high school basketball official, a member of OHSAA, an assistant basketball coach at Clark State and on the Human Rights Committee of the Clark County Board of DD. Survivors include his wife Susan (McSavaney) Waldren, daughters Jolynn Waldren of Springfield, Emily Waldren of Chicago, IL, Amy Knotts of Urbana; step children Michelle and Sean Henry of London; grandchildren Lyle Hall and Grace Knotts; sister in law Cindy Harris; special nephew Ralph Whitis; step grandchildren Nathan and Morgan Harrington and Bryan McDavid; several nieces and nephews; special friends Curt Wright and Danny Price. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Chuck Waldren and sister Nancy Heck. Graveside services will be held at 11 AM Friday in Deercreek Township Cemetery. Friends may call at the EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 103 N. Main Street, London from 4-8 PM Thursday. WOLFE, Frances* - Springfield  
WOLFE, Frances Ann 79, was called Home by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 24, 2016 following a brief illness. She was born in Urbana, Ohio, July 24, 1937 to Forrest and Almira (Peterson) Cooper. Fran is preceded in death by her parents, her brother; Robert Cooper, sister; Phyllis Beverly, loving husband; James Wolfe and great granddaughter; Brayla Stumbo. Fran worked many years as a dietary worker at Pillars Nursing Home and Emerson Elementary School. She attended First Baptist Church of Lower Valley Pike where she loved singing and fellowship. Her other hobbies were cooking, crocheting and spending time with family and friends. Fran was a shining light to the lives of everyone who knew her. She is survived by her brother; Dick (Mary Beth) Cooper, her children; Ron Frantz, Sande (Elden) Stumbo, Lisa (Mike) Thomas, Brian (Beth) Frantz, Alan (Ashley) Frantz, Clanthia (Wes) Thurman, Tony (Vickie) Hiltibran and Chris Hiltibran. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Hospice staff at Springfield Regional Medical Center for their compassionate care of our beloved mother. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 8:00PM Wednesday in the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Dale Stumbo officiating. Burial will follow in Dayton National Cemetery with her husband Jim.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore in 2000; brother, John Marino, Jr. and sister, Marie Richard. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in St. Teresa Church. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum.
