News Death Notice

EYSOLDT, Alexander J. "Joe" age 65 of West Alexandria, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013 after a serious accident. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alexander J. and Mary Eysoldt, and son, Brett A. Eysoldt. He is survived by his wife, Ethel Eysoldt; sons, Billy Eysoldt, Scott Eysoldt, Bradley (Linda) Harrison; daughter, Beverly (Ed) Field; sisters, Alma (Phil) Sparks, Shirley Eysoldt; several grandchildren, including special grandchildren, Christopher (Kelli) Field and Matthew Field; several nieces and nephews, and special friend, Charlie Claywell. Joe served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked at J.P. Sparks Electrical Contractors for 25 years as head foreman. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, canning, going to auctions with his wife Ethel, and raising his chickens. Joe was loved and respected by everyone he knew. He will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton, OH. The family will receive relatives and friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services on Wednesday, March 20.
