News Death Notice

STAHL, Ann L. 88, of Englewood, OH passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at Emeritus at Fox Run after a brief illness. She was born December 30, 1924 in Smythe County, VA, the daughter of the late Clayton & Sue Overbey. Ann was a member of the Honey Creek Presbyterian Church and was a retired nurse from Stouder Hospital. She is preceded in death by her husband, Floyd; a brother, James Overbey and a son, Bruce Stahl. She is survived by daughters; Betty (George) Hannon of AZ, Wanda (Dale) Bragg of Clayton, OH, Mary (Michael) Trantanella of Butler Township, OH; nephews, Phil (Lisa), Sam (Sylvia) of TN; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 2 great great-grandsons; a host of relatives and friends. She enjoyed working at the church in the clothes closet, reading, gardening, and cooking. The things she enjoyed most was taking care of and traveling with her husband of 37 years, making crafts for the church and grandchildren, and her nursing profession. Visitation will be 11-12 noon Saturday, June 29, 2013 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio with funeral services at 12 noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the children's charity or your choice in her honor.
