News Death Notice

WEINERT, Arthur C. age 95, of Beavercreek passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2012. Arthur was a graduate of Stivers High School. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Army and served from July 1945 until March 1946. Arthur worked as a contractor for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base until his retirement. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #321 in Beavercreek and enjoyed playing golf and fishing in his spare time. Above all, he was an avid family man who enjoyed spending his time at home. Arthur is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Northup) Weinert, sons, Kenneth (Shirley) and Dennis (Becky) Weinert, step-children, Sally (Larry) Dunning and Steven (Kim) Northup, grandchildren, Michael (Kathy) Weinert, Michele (Mike) O'Neal, Michael Weinert, and Scott (Sherry) Weinert, step-grandchildren, Christopher Downing, Angela (Jimmy) Aker, Robert (Cassandra) Northup, Benjamin (Tonya) Northup, Erica (Billy) Fuller, 20 great-grandchildren, and extra special "best friend" Nate Rosfeld. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Monday, October 15, 2012 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Road, Kettering with visitation being held one hour before the service.
