News Death Notice

CAYLOR, Charlotte D. (Hoover) age 93 of Brookville, formerly of Clayton, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2014. She was an instructor at the YWCA for many years. Charlotte was a member of the Happy Corner Church of the Brethren and the West Milton Seniors. She also loved sewing and dress making. Charlotte was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother who cherished her family dearly. She is survived by her daughters: Brenda (Glen) Green of Englewood, Beverly (Tom) Hall of Phillipsburg, grandchildren: Emily Green, Darrell (Sara) Hall, Eric (Marie) Hall, great grandchildren: Jesse and Kalissa Hall, step great granddaughter: Krystel Chenault, sisters: Thoradell Valentine of Englewood, Dolores Snider of NV, Carol (Dean) Wintrow of Sidney, numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband: Robert Caylor, parents: Elmer and Bonnie (Oldfather) Caylor, brothers: Eugene, William, James, Ronald, Waldo, John, Theodore and Fred Hoover, sister: Juanita Mueller. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Brookhaven for the wonderful care given to Charlotte. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Rev. Barbara Armentrout officiating. Interment will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Englewood. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
