FENNESSY, Rev., Dennis "Den" 65, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. He was born in Rochester, New York on August 8, 1947 to the late Paul M. & Marjorie L. (Richard) Fennessy. He was ordained as a minister on Feb. 24, 2008. Den served our country in the United States Marine Corps. during the Vietnam War. He was a life member of V.F.W. #3283, American Legion #888 & Vietnam Veterans of America, National Board of Christian Clinical Therapists, the Sarasota Academy of Christian Counselors & the National Christian Counselors Assn. Survived by his daughters, Christine Santiago (Paul) & Tammy Langley (Samuel); grandchildren, Bryan Fennessy, Stephanie Santiago & Brooke Langley; brothers, Paul Fennessy (Joyce) & James Fennessy (Nancy); niece & nephew, Jacqueline & James Fennessy, Jr.; adopted family, Judy & Kevin Moore; granddaughter, Leah D. Cooper (Thomas); grandson, Tyler C. Church. Graveside service 3:00 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St., Dayton, OH 45428. Pastor Mark McVey, officiating.
