Earl William KING

News Death Notice

KING, Earl William 82, formerly of Kettering, Ohio passed away surrounded by his family on April 8th, 2013 in Rocky Mount, NC. Earl is survived by his loving wife Phyllis of 58 years. He was extremely proud of his two daughters, Karen Osborne, of Rocky Mount, NC and Jill King of Portland, OR and of his son-in-law, Ron Osborne who was like a son to him. He is also survived by his grandsons Ryan William Osborne and Aaron C. Osborne, his great-grand daughter Audrey Osborne all of Rocky Mount, NC and his sister Jane (Bill) Beverley of Centerville, OH. Earl was a proud Marine who served his country during the Korean War. He loved staying active and enjoyed playing ping-pong, bike riding and rollerblading. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to friends and neighbors. Earl has graciously donated his body to medical research at Duke University to help others.
