News Death Notice

BRANDENBURG, Floyd 88, West Carrollton went to be with our lord and savior on December 8, 2012. Floyd was a devoted and loving father. His joy in life was spending time with his family especially his wife of over 65 years, Helen L. who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death was his son Vincent Eugene. He is survived by his son Michael L. During World War II, Floyd served his country in the U.S. Army in Europe. Later he graduated from the Dayton School of Business. Floyd retired from general motors Corp. where he was employed for over thirty years. During his retirement he was able to travel and really enjoy his time with Helen. The family wishes to provide heartfelt thanks to Joyce Ford, Tonya Minge, and Hospice of Dayton for the loving and compassionate care provided in Floyds last days. The family will receive friends 9-10am on Tuesday December 11, 2012 at Morris Sons Funeral Home, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH. Funeral service will follow with Pastor Mark Bradley officiating. Internment at Davids Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton. Condolences may be sent to www.morrissons.com.
