PROFITT, Forrest 86, of Tipp City, passed away May 3, 2014 at SpringMeade Nursing Center. He was born August 8, 1927 in Hardburley, Kentucky, the son of the late Ray and Fannie (Martin) Profitt. He was a US Army Veteran and retired from RTA after 33 years of service. A member of the UK Alumni Association and a big UK Wild Cats Fan. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Snoda Profitt and 8 of his siblings. What really mattered to Forrest in his life was his family. He dearly loved them and will be greatly missed by his children, Norma (Wayne) Barnett, Elizabeth Thompson, Jeannie (Mike) Sanchez, Ted (Jan) Haubenestel, Susan Harkins, Carol (Jeff) Fernandez; 10 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; 3 siblings; many nieces, nephews and good friends. Visitation will be held from 12:30 -1:30 PM Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, where a funeral ceremony will begin at 1:30 PM Wednesday with his Nephew, Pastor David Profitt officiating.
