News Death Notice

STIVER, Jr. Harold Theodore "Ted" age 54 of Fairborn, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2013. He was a graduate of Northmont High School class of 1977. Ted was a former police officer, paramedic and firefighter with Randolph Township. He was also a past president and coach for Englewood Little League. He is survived by his wife: Tammy Emrick, sons and daughter-in-law: Bryan (Jennifer) Stiver of Dayton, Philip Stiver of Fairborn, father and step-mother: Harold and Betty Jean Stiver Sr. of FL, brother: Gil (Sandi) Faircloth of Loudonville, sisters: Brenda (Robert) Jordan of Monroe, Jerri (Fred) Zink of Clayton, Mollie (Jim) Hamilton of Arcanum, mother-in-law: Arelda Emrick of Greenville, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother: Mary Marie Stiver. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church (1000 W. Wenger Rd.) with Fr. James Seibert, C.P.P.S. as celebrant. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. The Kindred Funeral Home, Englewood is handling arrangements.
