News Death Notice

EVANS, Harry Age 75, of Brookville, passed away Sunday April 20, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton following an extended illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Opal Evans, by a sister, Anna & by 3 brothers, Jimmy, Harold & Billy. Harry was a life-long truck driver. He loved camping and mowing his yard on his John Deere. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Ruth Ann Evans; son, Timothy (Annie) Evans; daughter, Tricia (Michael) McMurtray; son, Harry Eugene (Nikki) Evans; grandchildren, Alec McMurtray, Cheyenne McMurtray & Josh Evans; sister, Jenny Arrasmith and numerous other relatives and many friends. A funeral service will be held 7 PM Thu. April 24 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Pastor Todd Mills officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 PM until service time. The public is welcome to attend a committal service to be held 11 AM Fri. April 25 in the mausoleum at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, 25 W. Westbrook Rd. Brookville, OH 45309.
