News Death Notice

GOSSAGE, John B. age 90, of Union, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton following a brief illness. John retired from the IAMS Company where he worked at both the Delphos Avenue and Lewisburg Production Plants. John was a Veteran of WW II having proudly served in both the US Army and US Navy. John is survived by his daughter and son-in-law: Connie & Philip Piper of Seffner, FL, step-daughters and husband: Kathleen "Casey" Linville of Kettering, and Sue & Rob Spaulding of Centerville, step-sons and wives: Mike & Vickie Cordie of Englewood, and Matt & Kellan Cordie of WV, brother: George Gossage of Steubenville, OH, 10 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Rosemary (Deyhle) Gossage in 2007, daughter: Janet Owens, parents: Ed & Cora (Dalton) Gossage, brothers: Joe and Bob, sisters: Grace and Iva, and step son-in-law: James Linville. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Rev. Dan Kincer officiating. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
