News Death Notice

RYERSON, Kathleen N. Age 69, of Xenia, passed away Monday Aug. 12, 2013 at her home. She was born Sept. 21, 1944 in Englewood, CA to Shirley (Gross) and John Turvene. She was a member of Liberty Worship Center, Xenia, where she taught Bible classes and Sunday School. She loved to read and was passionate about church work and ministries and even held a minister's license that was used to further missionary ministries. Kathleen retired from Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, where she worked as a nurse trainer. Kathleen is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles "Charlie", son Clint Ryerson of Xenia, daughter Tina Gitzinger & husband Joe of Dayton, three grandchildren and sister Berdina Foster & husband Bill of Peebles. The family will receive friends Sunday Aug. 18 from 6-8 pm at Liberty Worship Center, 1180 Upper Bellbrook Rd., Xenia. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 am at the church with Pastors Gene Martin and Todd Martin officiating. Burial in Middle Run Cemetery, Spring Valley.
