News Death Notice

LEUGERS, Lee age 94, of Clayton, died at home of brain cancer on December 2, 2013. Of German descent, he was born at North Star, Ohio on January 4, 1920 to Henry & Josephine (Zumbrink) Leugers. He was preceded in death by his first wife: Rita, a son, two daughters, six brothers and six sisters. He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Flora; son: Don Leugers, daughter: Patti (Lynn) Army, sister: Joan Simon, step-children: Danny Comer, Cheryl (Keith) Medley, Vicki (Chuck) Siefke, and Cynthia Comer, four grandchildren, two great grandsons, three step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren. Lee retired in 1982 from the Carpenters Local #104. He loved to garden and work on his 5 acre homestead. He was a longtime faithful member of the St. Paul Catholic Church in Englewood. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 7, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church (1000 W. Wenger Road, Englewood) with Father Jim Seibert C.P.P.S. celebrant. The family will receive friends on Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Graveside service and interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the St. Mary Cemetery in Celina, Ohio.
