BAKER, Oma C. 92, of Arcanum, died Friday, 1/21/2011 at Englewood Manor. Mrs. Baker was born in Fremont, Virginia on 1/16/ 1918, the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Dunahoo) Philyaw. She was a member of Gordon United Methodist Church, Gordon and was owner/operator of the former Midway Market. Preceded by her first husband Thomas Archer and her second husband Elmer Baker, infant Daughter Joetta Archer, 5 Brothers Roy, Lonnie, Cecil, Felix, and Cuba Philyaw, and Sister Stella Green. Survived by 4 Daughters Deloris Anne Meadows, Thelma (Bill) Campbell, Cathy (Don) Oswalt, and Ruby Hutchens; Son Roger (Sharon) L. Archer; 16 Grandchildren; numerous Great and Great Great Grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held 2:00 PM on Monday, 1/24/2011 at Archer Cemetery, Lashmeat, West Virginia with Rev Jill Disher officiating. Visitation Sunday 2 - 5 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Condolences may be sent to
