DAVIDSON, O'Neil Age 91, of Dayton, peacefully departed this life Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Englewood Manor Care Center. Born April 18, 1922 in Rocky Hill, Kentucky to the late Ernest and Flossie (Hibbit) Davidson. Friends and neighbors knew him as a quiet man of few words, who was always willing to extend a helping hand. He served in the US Army
from 1942-1946. He was no stranger to work and gave 40 years to Delco Products before he retired with a total of only 2 weeks of being absent. In 1988, O'Neil enhanced his journey in life by joining the Ethan Temple SDA Church where he faithfully served as a deacon. Preceded in death by his siblings, Roger and James Davidson, and Earline Lewis. He leaves to cherish his precious memories his loving wife of 56 years, Inez; sons, Franklin (Jina) Davidson of Dayton, Terrance (Doris) Davidson of Atlanta, GA, Donald (Glenda) Black of Dayton; daughters, Carol Sullivan, Carolyn (James) Kelley, of Huntsville, AL, Barbara (Ernest) Augustine of Oakland, CA, Cheryl Jessup of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Bria, Brina, Brittny, Bresean, Tiffany, Donerik, Shronda, Richard, Michelle, Sonjo, Monique, Carla, Andre, Cara, Trinity, Autumn, Tomisha; numerous great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday, May 3, 2013 at Ethan Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church, 4000 Shiloh Springs Rd., Clayton. Pastor Joe Grider officiating. Interment Dayton National Cemetery. Visitation from 10 am to 1 pm. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm. Arrangements entrusted to the House of Wheat Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 N.
