News Death Notice

MAUL SR., Phillip Henry age 68, departed this life on Thursday, March 27, 2013. He was born on July 24, 1944 to the late Florida Mae Jones and Willie Smith in Selma, AL. He became employed by Good Samaritan Hospital and worked as a Chef and the City of Dayton, where he retired following 32 years of service in the Waste Collection Department as a truck driver. He is preceded in death by his parents; (2) brothers, (1) aunt, Annie Mae; several uncles and his grandmother. He leaves to cherish his memory; his loving and devoted wife, Eula Maul; dedicated daughter, Linda (Clyde) Price of Tampa, FL; daughters, Michelle Maul and Felicia A. Maul of Dayton, OH; (1) son, Phillip H. Maul Jr.; (11) grandchildren; (2) great-grandchildren; (2) sisters, Linda Jones and Patricia Jones; dedicated aunt, Carrie Booze; uncle, Aguster Maul of McCalla, AL.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral service 11:00 A.M., THURSDAY, April 4, 2013 at SHILOH BAPTIST CHURCH, 3801 Fairbanks Ave., with Pastor T. D. Newkirk, officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service.
