News Death Notice

HELTON, Ralph E. age 82, of Englewood, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was an electrician for IBEW Local 82 and co-founder of the Wiremans Golf Association. Ralph formerly coached little league baseball and pee-wee football. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having proudly served in the U.S. Navy. Ralph was a member of Salem Church of God in Clayton and American Legion Post # 707 in Englewood. Ralph is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Susie & Earl Harlamert of Clayton, Theresa & Rick Bowers of Clayton, sons and daughters-in-law: Butch & Nancy Oskey of Brookville, and Doug & Jo Helton of Knoxville, TN, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, sister: Margaret Foster, brothers: Bill Helton, Gale (Janice) Helton all of TN, and many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years: Mary Margaret (Henry) Helton, parents: Joseph David and Levenie Ann (Gragg) Helton, 3 sisters and 3 brothers. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Salem Church of God (6500 Southway Rd., Clayton) with Rev. Kitty Kincaid officiating. Interment will follow the service at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood), and on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service at the Church.
