News Death Notice

GANN, Ralph 80, of Beavercreek, passed away Thurs. Feb. 6, 2014 at Quaker Heights Nursing Home, Waynesville. Ralph was born April 16, 1933 in Hixson, Tenn. to Thelma (May) and Baxter Ralph Gann, Sr. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, member of the Shriners, Masonic Lodge #747 West Carrollton, Millright's Carpenters Union #1066 Dayton. Ralph was very enthusiastic about NASCAR and especially Dale Jr. Ralph retired from MPH Crane where he worked as an Operating Engineer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ralph is survived by one son Ricky, two daughters Becky and Robin, two step-sons Dale Sparrow (Tammy) and Vic Hartsook (Diane), one step-daughter Lisa Bishop, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three brothers James (Gail) and Charles (Jean), all of Tenn., nephew Jimmy of Mason and many other relatives and friends. A memorial celebration will be held at the convenience of the family. The family would like to thank Quaker Heights for their love and care they gave to Ralph and family during this time of need.
