News Death Notice

QUIRE, Robert "Santa" age 77 of Beavercreek, passed away Friday, May 23, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Wanda Quire; parents, Buddy Quire and Harriet Sterling, and brothers, William R. Quire and Michael C. Quire. He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly (Frank) Ross, Kristy Hardin; friend (a.k.a. daughter), Mary Ann De Velvis; grandchildren, Amanda (Donnie) Thomas, Frankie Ross Jr., Robby Werner, Ashley (Kyle) Smith; sisters, Belinda Butler, Sharon Mains, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Robert retired after many years from the Dayton Walther Corporation was a member of Millennium Lodge #779, F&AM, achieving the 32 nd degree, and a member of Moose Lodge #73. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating on Lake Erie, golfing, was a motorcyclist and played Santa for the Special Wish Foundation, the Bellfair Country Store and other organizations. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME - BEAVERCREEK CHAPEL, 3970 Dayton-Xenia Rd. at Grange Hall Rd. with interment to follow in Mt.
