Stanley B. STRUKAMP


News Death Notice

STRUKAMP, Stanley B. Age 85 of Clayton, passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2013. He was born April 28, 1927 in Casella, Ohio. Stanley retired from Inland Manufacturing and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and loved to golf. Stanley enjoyed refinishing old furniture, researching family genealogy, and playing cards with friends. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Mary (Dan) O'Connor of Clayton, Barbara (Ron) Roberts of Clayton, sons: Robert Strukamp of Clayton, John Strukamp of Dayton, Steve Strukamp of Springfield, sisters: Marilyn G. Strukamp of Dayton, Delores Tobias of VA, Irma (Dick) Kastner of Dayton, Thelma (Joe) Creage of NV, 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, best friends: Ernest and Rita Bertke of Centerville, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and special cousin: Theodor Struhkamp and family of Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years: Viola M. (Depweg) Strukamp and parents: Louis and Alethea (Luthman) Strukamp. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church (1000 W. Wenger Road, Englewood) with Fr. Tim Knepper, C.P.P.S. officiating. Inurnment will follow the Mass at Fairview Cemetery in Englewood. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood).
