News Death Notice

HUTSON, Vera C. Born April 15, 1919 in Magoffin County, Ky., passed away peacefully at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, Ohio on November 20, 2012.Vera was a devoted wife and loving Mother. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Warren M. Hutson, on December 31, 2007. She was also preceded in death by her Father and Mother, Robert L. and Daily Caudill. She was the eldest of eight children (1 sister died at birth); also deceased are 1 sister (Rebecca Heaberlin) and 2 brothers (Robert H. Caudill, and George Caudill). She is survived by two brothers and a sister, Bill Caudill of Kentucky, Jack Caudill of Montana, and Barbara Starling of North Carolina. Vera had four children and they survive her - Joyce (Bill) Huff; Janet (Arlis) Lawson, Hargus (Judi) Howard all of Ohio and George (Phyllis) Howard of Kentucky. She has 9 grandchildren, one deceased; 10 great grandchildren (with 2 twin daughters expected in January 2013); 6 great-great grandchildren all surviving.She retired from Inland Division of General Motors in 1982 with over 28 years of service.Her true love was her family and friends and she will be greatly missed but will forever remain in our hearts. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 26, 2012 with visitation at 12:00 Noon and services beginning at 1:00 p.m. Services will be at Newcomer Funeral Home - 3380 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek, Ohio conducted by Chaplain William Sangrey. Burial will be at Valley View Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are given to The Hospice of Dayton.
