News Death Notice

FRASURE, Verle E. age 83 of Beavercreek, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 13, 2014, at Hospice of Dayton surrounded by his loving family. He was born December 8, 1930. Preceded in death by his wife, Sharlene Frasure; parents George and Mabel Frasure; sisters Doris Bullock and Helen Hooks; brothers-in-law Tony Colia and John Brammer; nieces Ronda Ulrich, Dawn Reed, Kerri Aukerman and great nephew Dylan Gibson. He will be missed immensely by sons Rick (Sharon) Frasure of Dayton, Randy (Julia) Frasure of Beavercreek, and daughter Kathy (Steve) Heil of Beavercreek, brother Harold (Barbara) Frasure of Bellbrook, and sister Leola McKee of Columbus, sisters-in-law Bonnie (Marv) Aukerman of Englewood, Joan Shaneyfelt of West Carrollton, Judy Brammer of Lamonte, MO, Sharon Colia of Xenia and brother-in-law Herman (Pat) Behnken of Dayton, grandchildren Josh (Anna) Frasure, Justin (Jennifer) Frasure, Jared (Amy) Frasure, Amanda (Andrew) Kirkpatrick, Chelsea Heil, Ryan Heil, and Stephanie Heil, great grandchildren Madeline and Jackson Frasure, Emmalee and Annabelle Frasure, and Peyton and Tristan Frasure, numerous other relatives and friends. Verle served in the U.S. Navy, 1948-1951, and the Air National Guard, 1963-1964. He worked for 21 years at National Cash Register and then General Motors as a toolmaker until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, card games, gardening, and spending time with family. He was a wonderful man who loved everyone and knew no stranger. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday, July 17, at MORRIS FUNERAL HOME, 1771 E. Dorothy Lane, Kettering, OH. Services 10 am Friday at the funeral home. Interment at Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Verle. Condolences may be sent to www.morris-sons.com
