William "Bill" Bailey


News Death Notice

BAILEY, William "Bill" 77 of Clayton, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2011. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years Virginia "Ginny" (nee Franchetti) Bailey, four sons Ronald Bailey of Anchorage, AK, William "Billy" Bailey Jr., Tom Bailey, Kenny Bailey all of Piqua, one sister Marge Boroff of Sidney, special brother-in-law/friend Jim Story, special friend/hunting buddy Felix DeNoto, many grand, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Denise Bailey in 2010, a brother Joe Bailey, two sisters Joann Story and Wilda Bailey. Bill was retired from Burger Iron where he had worked for 42 years, he also had worked at FlowServe for 10 years, was a member of Victory Christian Church in Kettering, was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Bill was a proud US Marine Corps veteran having served in the Korean Conflict and early Viet Nam. Bill's family will receive friends at the Victory Christian Church, 2275 South Patterson Boulevard, Kettering, Ohio 45409, Saturday, May 21 starting at 11:00 AM, followed by a service of remembrance at 12:00 noon with Pastor Gary Trenium presiding. Everyone is then invited to a luncheon at the church following the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be to the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, Ohio 45420 in memory of Bill.
