News Death Notice

ARMBRUSTER, Doris C. age 101, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2011 at Englewood Manor. She was born March 11, 1910 in Wayne Twp., Ohio, daughter of the late Frank L. & Florence Collins. Preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, 1 brother, Stanley Collins, and 2 sisters, Eva Miller & Thelma Allen, Doris is survived by her son, Byron Armbruster of Trotwood; 2 grandsons, Bart of Glendale, AZ and Blane of Brookville; 3 grandchildren, Landon, Justin & Ashton and 1 great-granddaughter, Tatum Marie. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm, Tuesday, August 30 at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral Home, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 31 at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Doris's memory.
