SHOCK, Roberta "Irene" Age 87, of Kettering, OH passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Vincent Shock and her parents. She is survived by her daughters: Terry (Horacio) Perez-Blanco, Ginny (Jeff) Howard, & Kim (Rick) Bunn, sisters: Agnes Hubler, Georgianna Troin, grandchildren: Chris & Lori Hassel, Marcos, Jonathan & Lynne Perez- Blanco, & Jason & Jessica Bunn. Irene was a loving and devoted wife, mother & grandmother who will be deeply missed by all that knew her. As a young adult she met her husband while teaching ballroom dancing to WWII GI's & other young adults. She will be remembered by many with whom she shared her needle work talent. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 23, 2008 at Church of the Ascension 2025 Woodman Dr. Kettering, OH 4542O. Prayers will be at 9:45 am on Saturday at TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL at Rahn Rd. prior to the mass. Interment following mass at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 5-8 pm on Friday, February 22, 2008. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Assoc. or the March of Dimes in memory of Irene. Online condolences may be sent to www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
