News Death Notice
HUNT, Bertha V. (Parks) Age 96, formerly of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Brookdale Place in Englewood. She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice Hunt, by her parents, Willie & Nettie Parks & by 5 brothers & 4 sisters. She was a graduate of Lewisburg HS and a longtime member of Fairview United Methodist Church in Dayton. Bertha is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Vickie & Ron Ginter; granddaughters, Tracy Guy & Michelle Guy; sisters-in- law, Janice & husband Lowell Reisert, Lorraine Hunt, Phyllis Parks & Janet Parks, and numerous nieces & nephews. A funeral service will be held 10 AM Mon. July 23 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE, with Rev. Barbara Wiechel officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. At the family's request there will be no visitation. The family wishes to thank both VITAS Hospice and Brookdale Place for the loving care they offered to Bertha.
