ALEXANDER, Bobby Lee Age 66 of Vandalia, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the Dayton VA Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born July 20, 1939 in Amorita, OK, son of the late George F. & Florence A. (Pritchett) Alexander. Bobby was a retired US Navy Veteran of the Viet Nam Era. He was preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Sandy Lee and I sister Virginia Alexander. Bobby is survived by his wife Carolyn Alexander; step-daughter, Shari Innocent of Vandalia; step-son Rob & wife Rachel McSherry stationed with the US Marine Corp at Camp LeJeune, NC; 1 son Bobby Alexander Jr. of IN; 1 brother, George & wife Ruth Alexander; 1 sister Lavonne Austin; 5 grandchildren, Brianna, Lianna, Tony, Christine, Tyler and numerous other relatives & friends. Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1:30 P.M. Friday, September 30 at the Dayton National Cemetery, 4100 W. Third St. With Rev. Peter Bellini officating. Friends may call at the Morton & Whetstone Funeral, 139 S. Dixie Dr., Vandalia on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 P.M.
