News Death Notice
Goeltzenleuchter, Darrell T. age 86 of Dayton, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012 at Heartland of Centerville. He was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Kenneth and Betty Goeltzenleuchter and a sister, Ardith Goeltzenleuchter. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mattie Goeltzenleuchter. He is also survived by his sister, Lois Heeter and husband George and several nieces and nephews: Marianne Wooden and husband Ron, David Heeter, Jennifer Smith, Joshua Heeter and Gage Smith. Darrell was retired from Sheffield Gauge following forty years of service; he was a longtime member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Catholic Church (Xenia Ave at Allen St.) on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 11 AM. Friends may call at the church from 10 AM until the time of the Mass on Wednesday. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences for the family can be made at www.tobiasfuneralhome.com.
