FUDGE, David C. age 76 of Fairborn, formerly of Union, passed away on Friday, October 11, 2013. He retired from the State of Ohio and was also working locally for Rush Package Delivery and for H&R Block in Ft. Walton Beach, FL during the winter months. David was a former councilman for the City of Union. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of the Englewood Masonic Lodge #743, F. & A.M., a member of the American Legion in Fairborn and a lifetime member and former commander of the V.F.W. Post 5434 in Union. David was an avid musician and also enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching Jeopardy. He is survived by his children: Terri Maruca of Union, Randy (Evelyn) Fudge of Fairborn, Darla Horn of FL, Kelly (Brendan) Flynn of VA, Christine Rice of Eaton, former wife: Gail Fudge of Union, brother: John (Thelma) Fudge of FL, sister: Dottie (Bill) Farrell of Vandalia, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friend: Cheryl Adkins of Fairborn. He was preceded in death by his parents: Frederick and Mary (Tullis) Fudge, step mother: Ruth Fudge, brother and sister-in-law: Malcolm and Glora Fudge and son-in-law: Mark Maruca Sr. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood). Interment will follow the service at Twin Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
