YAGLEY, Donna Rose (Apple) 66 years old, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on Friday, June 28th. Donna was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 18, 1946. She graduated from Kettering Fairmont High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor of Science in Education from THE Ohio State University. Donna was the loving, dedicated, patient wife of 40 years to Gary Yagley. They were married on December 16, 1972 after dating only four months. Donna taught health and physical education for Kettering City Schools for 32 years. She loved her family more than anything but playing bridge, golf, and reading followed closely behind. She was also actively involved in her church, Fairmont Presbyterian and was a member of Alpha Phi sorority and Sycamore Creek County Club. Donna is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Kara Baker (Jason) and Laura Hochstein (Scott), grandchildren Emma Rose, Olivia Payton, Cooper Louis and Aubrey Rose. Her mother Oliverose Apple, mother-in-law Claudia Yagley, sisters Martha Lee Meconi (Tony) and Jane Wheelhouse (Robert), aunt Mary Allbery, and many cousins, nieces and nephews survive as well. Donna is preceded in death by her father William D. Apple. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd from 5 - 8 pm at Schlientz and Moore funeral home in Centerville. The funeral service will be held at Fairmont Presbyterian Church in Kettering on Wednesday, July 3rd at 10 a.m. Burial will follow the funeral at David's Cemetery in Kettering.
