News Death Notice

WANNEMACHER, Evelyn Faye (Taylor) A loving, supportive wife and committed mom, meme, mom-mom, sister and friend, passed away Monday February 20, 2012 at Kettering Memorial Hospital. She was 77. Faye was born June 18, 1934 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky to Edith (Martin) Ingram and Charles Ingram. She will be lovingly remembered for her enjoyment of traveling in the motor home cross-country, hitting 30 royal flushes in various casinos, collecting eye glasses for the Lions Club, as well as knitting scarfs for the homeless, and shopping for family and friends at Kohl's, her second home. Faye retired September 1, 1991 from Delco Products, a division of General Motors. She was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws Herman and Helen Wannemacher, step-son Joe Wannemacher, and former husband Tex Taylor. Faye is survived by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Wannemacher, daughter Brenda Lee (Jerry), sons Chuck and Danne Taylor, grandchildren Chris Lee (Amy) and Eric Lee (Erin), great-granddaughter Ella Marie Lee, step-children Debby Seibert (Fred), Kathy Waker (Steve), Connie Filbrun (Andy), step-grandchildren Sarah and Nic Seibert, Krista and Jenna Wright, Mallory and Morgan Waker, Caroline, Joe and Jacob Filbrun, dog Lady Abigal PAL, sister and brother-in-law Martha Jean Bodmer (Orville), nephews Jack Bodmer (Tammy), great-nephews Rory and Brett, special friends Bob and Carol Goldsberry, and Walt and Linda Worthington. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8 pm at Conner & Koch Funeral Home, 92 W. Franklin St. (S.R. 725), Bellbrook. Funeral services 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Bryan Forbes of the Bellbrook Church of Christ will be officiating. Burial in Bellbrook Cemetery. In memory of Faye, memorial contributions may be made to Bellbrook Lions Club.
